Vladimir Marković

Vladimir Marković has been the conductor of Belgrade Chamber Choir since its founding in 1996.

He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

Throughout his 40-year career in music, he has accomplished extraordinary results in many fields of music that he has pursued almost simultaneously: as an instrumentalist and vocal soloist with the Renesans and the Ars Nova ensembles for antique music; as a vocal soloist with the Branko Krsmanović mixed choir and as a long-standing member of the professional Choir of the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS); and as a performer, author, arranger and conductor in popular music. He has established himself successful as a composer of original motion picture scores, as well as a composer of music for theater and television. He has worked simultaneously as music producer. For many years he was the general director and editor-in-chief of PGP RTS label, as well as the editor-in-chief for music recordings at the RTS Music Production and the editor-in-chief of the RTS Symphonic Orchestra.

He has performed in almost all the countries in Europe, USA, Canada and Russia.

He is the winner of numerous awards and prizes for his music achievements and overall contribution to culture.
